Packaging Data Collection Methods; Corporate Adherent Utility

In the wake of 'Tax base dialogue' - my two cents -  where broadening respective base is concerned, would look to exploit the inefficiencies with street vendors by implementing barcode / QR code technology as an alternative to FDA technology for smaller businesses looking to scale.

Respective technology (ies) primarily looks to perform following functionality (ies) ;

- Tracking
- Locating
- Identifying

In efforts to supplement revenue collection models in this particular case - so too aiding other social, public and corporate adherent systems for vendors and small scale businesses - at the fix of the products packaging, is plausible!

• Siting taxes using barcode and or QR code technology for smaller vendors would see instant transfer of information inhouse - in regards to respective corporate adherent institution collecting / policing respective vendors. In turn it;

• Eases the policing of said vendors - as a result of business scaling concerns, not all can afford FDA machines. And so by making it mandatory for these vendors to have barcoded data - will see our regulatory institutions (TRA moreso in this case) police these businesses as opposed to cracking down operations when collection dates approach.

• Will see an improvement in product quality - through standardized packaging.

• Reduce health and safety concerns via standardized packaging.

• Further standards concerns can be policed through Tanzanias Bureau of Standards with this mechanism.

• It will aid these small businesses and street vendors interms of stability - where they look to scale their businesses with little to no risk of intense investment from the get go. (FDA Machines @ TZS.600,000/= give or take) in addition to operational requisites can be drastically cut down in the shape of packaging investment.

• Reduces black market activity.

• In addition to business adherent systems the likes of Brela, TBS and so forth.

》 After facilitating said vendors with physical market spaces in which to operate, focusing efforts towards standardized packaging in this manner - is a no brainer - and would further span outside government facilities of trade in efforts to stimulating small business activity in an organized manner.

How this challenge will attain resolve - be it via barcode technology or such alike at the discretion of packaging - will ultimately see the "real backbone" of our economy accounted for - in a scaled manner.
